TNC is working to restore the shoreline in Bayou La Batre, Alabama

Lightning Point Short

Bayou La Batre has lost more than a football field of' coastline in the last 10 years.

We are trying to fix that. 

The nature conservancy's lightning point project will:

-Protect 127 Acres of Land

- Install 1.5 miles of breakwater

- Conserve 40 acres of Marsh, Tidal Creeks, And Scrud-Shrub Habitat
